Coding internship in an international company

Are you passionate about optimising business processes through your excellent coding skills? Are you into new AI tools, an early adopter of market trends, and adept in written and spoken English? Then join us at MAKEEN Energy’s headquarters in Randers.

You will be part of our Customer Support department, where we offer service packages and Facility Management solutions to our customers. We are a diverse team with members from Brazil, Portugal, France, and Denmark, and we work daily across borders with colleagues and customers from other countries.

We are looking for an intern to help us with uncovering new possible uses of Microsoft O365. Your internship could start with us at the beginning of May or August 2024, depending on the internship schedule at your university.

1. Today, we have many supervisors who do service visits at our customers’ sites. After each visit, they write a report in our Service system, detailing what has been done onsite. We would like to automate this process, so an automatic report is generated simply based on “before” and “after” pictures and a small description of the visit on the supervisor’s mobile phone. The task here will be to write the code for the automated generation of reports with O365 (Power Apps/Dynamics 365).
   
   
2. If you have time, we would also like you to investigate this challenge: It can sometimes be difficult to identify the spare parts that our customers need for their plants. Our ambition is to be able to identify a spare parts number in our database, simply by automatic recognition of that spare part through a photo taken by a mobile phone (within the limitations imposed by our Cybersecurity policies).

You will refer directly to our Maintenance & Asset Manager.

You proactively investigate and adopt new market trends, such as AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, and you find it easy to do self-paced learning from e.g. YouTube videos.

It is a plus if you know Office 365 (MS Access, Excel, Power Apps, Power BI) and Python.

Your educational background is not the primary factor, however, you must be enrolled in an education programme.
