Valve leak detector

Automatic in-line in chain conveyor with valve opener/closer for screw valves

The electronically controlled valve leak detector VLD is an independent unit designed for in-line installation in a chain conveyor. This VLD is fully automatic and equipped with an infrared leak test head CIR-II and an automatic valve opener/closer for opening/closing screw valves before/after testing.

The test head performs a leak test (identifies the actual leak rate) on the cylinder valve and valve thread with MAKEEN Energy’s unique infrared leak test head CIR-II. The test result is compared to a preset permitted maximum leak rate according to applicable norm/legislation. This comparison decides whether the cylinder can be approved or rejected. The leak test is only possible if the cylinder contains gas.
