Job opening
We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant for MAKEEN Gas Equipment to support the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of materials and equipment, ensuring stock accuracy, traceability, quality, and safety.
Your responsibilities
- Receive and check inbound deliveries (quantity, part numbers, condition and documentation).
- Register receipts in the ERP/WMS and ensure correct labelling and identification.
- Store materials according to warehouse layout and FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
- Prepare orders and kits for production, service technicians and projects (picking/packing/kitting).
- Perform final checks and organise shipping documentation prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate with carriers to meet collection and delivery deadlines.
- Support cycle counts/stock takes and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Follow HSE procedures and use PPE and handling equipment safely (pallet truck/forklift, as applicable).
Your profile
- Secondary school (12th grade preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in warehouse/logistics (preferred).
- Comfortable with manual handling and a hands-on approach.
- Strong accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
- ERP/WMS experience is a plus (e.g., IFS, SAP..).
- Forklift license/certification (preferred or required—define internally).
- Good English for labels and technical documentation.
- Reliable, proactive, team-oriented and able to work under time pressure

The practical things
Your daily base will be at Porto, Portugal. Your working hours will be in the space between 8 am and 5 pm. You can start as soon as possible.
