Transfer Pricing Specialist

Are you ready to lead the transfer pricing in an international, growing company with subsidiaries around the world? Do you want to utilise your transfer pricing experiences, and are you ready for new professional and personal challenges in an exciting and dynamic environment? We are looking for a proactive Transfer Pricing Specialist to join our international Finance Group on 1 January 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Join an innovative global team

As our Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will have the global responsibility for transfer pricing in the MAKEEN Energy group, including developing and implementing our global transfer pricing policies and supporting strategic decision-making across our global organisation.

Your workplace will be at the MAKEEN Energy headquarters in Randers, Denmark, with reference to the Group CFO. In cooperation with both MAKEEN Energy management and other stakeholders, you will be involved and have a high impact on decisions in cross-border projects, including the inter-group trading pattern, where Transfer Pricing plays a crucial role.

Your main responsibilities

As our Transfer Pricing Specialist, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • develop, maintain and implement changes in global transfer pricing policies in line with OECD guidelines and local regulations
  • manage global transfer pricing documentation, ensuring timely preparation and filing, and that inter-company agreements and benchmarks are regularly updated to maintain compliance.
  • plan and advise key stakeholders to ensure transfer pricing policies remain up to date in connection with global launches and changes to the business, including the group trading patterns
  • collaborate closely with Headquarters and local entities to ensure accurate implementation of pricing policies
  • lead Transfer Pricing audits and inquiries in cooperation with local General and Finance Managers
  • provide transfer pricing advice on business restructurings, new transactions, and cross-border initiatives
  • proactively identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance, including conducting internal transfer pricing audits
  • monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company’s transfer pricing strategy
  • Over time, you will act as an internal trusted advisor on complex tax matters

Your profile

We expect you to have:

  • a Master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, law, auditing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, tax, or related areas
  • proven track record of independently managing TP documentation, audits, and tax compliance across jurisdictions
  • strong understanding of OECD guidelines and local transfer pricing regulations
  • high communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to advise senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • high level of independence and ownership, able to drive projects and decisions without close supervision.
  • fluency in English (Danish is a plus) with strong writing skills for documentation and audit support.
  • Experience with corporate taxation and VAT regulations is a plus, but not required

As a person, you:

  • Work effectively within a team environment and value open communication.
  • Approach tasks methodically with attention to detail.
  • Focus on delivering meaningful results with every task.

We do not expect all applicants to fulfil 100% of the points listed above, and you may even have some useful skills that we haven’t even thought of – feel free to let us know! We encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.

And what’s in it for you?

As a new MAKEENer, we welcome you into an informal working environment with room for people of all kinds and backgrounds. You will join a collaborative and international work environment with strong professional development opportunities and get a high-impact role in a global organisation with room to influence and innovate.

In your first weeks here, you will participate in a detailed onboarding and introduction process to MAKEEN Energy. We encourage and support your growth through e-learning and other study programs. You will have access to an array of benefits, such as:

  • Health and accident insurance
  • A healthy and tasty lunch and breakfast buffet
  • Access to fitness facilities
  • and much more.

We enjoy each other’s company, which is why we often get together outside of working hours. Our event committee, MAKEEN Event, arranges many different social events and sports activities for MAKEENers from all departments and functions.
