Job opening
Quality, safety, and reliability are essential for our customers’ operations. We continuously work to identify issues early, learn from them, and improve our processes.
To strengthen this effort, we are looking for a technically strong Non-Conformance Case Handler to join our Group QHSE team.
This role requires a solid engineering understanding across disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, software, and piping systems, enabling you to truly understand problems—not just facilitate them.
You will play a key role in ensuring that issues are handled professionally, transparently, and effectively across the organization, contributing directly to improved product quality, project execution, and supplier performance.
The role
You will act as a professional problem solver, facilitator, and improvement driver across a global and highly technical organization.
By combining structured problem-solving methods with technical insight, you will help teams identify real root causes and implement effective, sustainable solutions.
This position sits at the center of many interfaces across engineering, manufacturing, projects, supply chain, and suppliers.
Key responsibilities
Case handling & technical problem solving
- Manage and coordinate non-conformance cases across the organization
- Understand and challenge technical problem statements across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software, piping)
- Facilitate root cause analysis using structured methods (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are technically sound and effective
Customer and quality improvement
- Support resolution of complex technical quality issues
- Ensure lessons learned are captured and shared globally
- Prevent recurrence of issues impacting customers, projects, or product performance
Process monitoring & system improvement
- Monitor NCR process performance
- Identify improvements in processes, tools, and systems
- Strengthen a consistent global approach to case handling
Facilitation & coaching
- Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions
- Coach teams in both structured problem solving and technical understanding
- Build stronger problem-solving capabilities across the organization
Coordination & follow-up
- Drive progress across multiple stakeholders
- Follow up on corrective actions until closure
- Ensure clear communication and transparency
Mini project management
- Coordinate complex or cross-functional cases
- Align stakeholders across functions, sites, and countries
- Ensure structured documentation and reporting
Your profile
We are looking for someone who combines technical engineering insight with structured problem-solving capabilities.
You are curious, analytical, and able to bridge the gap between technical detail and practical solutions.
Key qualifications
- Engineering background is preferred (e.g., mechanical, electrical, process, or similar)
- Broad technical understanding across systems (mechanical, electrical, software, piping)
- Experience with quality management, non-conformance handling, or continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience facilitating root cause analysis
Professional skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across functions, cultures, and countries
- Ability to challenge constructively and ask the right technical questions
- Structured, persistent, and solution-oriented
Language
- Strong English skills required
What we offer
- A global role with exposure across the entire MAKEEN value chain
- The opportunity to work with complex, technical challenges
- Direct impact on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction
