Group Finance Business Controller – Digitalisation and controlling

We are looking for a Business Controller within Group Finance who combines strong analytical capabilities within digitalisation and data-driven financial management.

As Business Controller, you will become part of a highly skilled and engaged finance team and take on a key role with significant influence across the broader finance function. Working closely with Group Finance and local Finance Managers across the world, you will contribute to the continued development of financial management and performance reporting across our business areas.

In addition, you will play a central role in our digital transformation journey, with a strong focus on maintaining and enhancing our reporting and consolidation platform called VENA. You will also be instrumental in advancing the use of Power-BI and AI within the finance function, helping to strengthen data-driven decision-making and improve the quality and accessibility of financial insights.

As our new Business Controller, your main responsibilities will be:

• Drive the development and continuous improvement of financial consolidation in VENA, management reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across reporting processes and systems
• Transform financial and operational data into actionable insights that support decision-making across the organization.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews including variance analyses, resource allocation, and efficiency opportunities
• Finance controlling of the MAKEEN entities including internal reviews of P&L, Balance, Trade Working Capital, Cash flow etc. Expect 2-3 weeks of annual travel activities
• Participate in preparation and update of financial guidelines (Standard operating Procedures, accounting manual, IT user guides etc.)
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the MAKEEN Group to develop Business Intelligence solutions to enhance transparency, performance management, and financial oversight.

We expect you to have:

• Master Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Experience in Financial and Business Controlling, Management Reporting, or a similar finance role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with large data sets
• Experience within Finance digitilization e.g. SQL/Excel VBA/Macros/Power BI etc.
• Experience with Financial consolidation would be an advantage but not a requirement
• Structured, proactive, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment
• Fluent in English (Danish is a plus), with strong writing skills.
