Supply
The LPG transfer system TTR has been designed by MAKEEN Energy to load/unload LPG from trucks to storage tanks in LPG facilities.
The transfer system consists of numerous pieces of equipment such as pipes, hoses, valves, gauges and electrical components. The piping system includes emergency shut-off valves on liquid and vapour lines. These valves will automatically close during fires, gas leaks or other hazards. In addition, gas and fire sensors, potential equalisation systems and fire fighting systems can be installed to ensure a safe LPG transfer.
The transfer system is located at the loading bay, where the trucks with LPG are parked before the unloading operation.
Transfer from the LPG storage tank to the truck can also be done by using an LPG transfer pump from MAKEEN Energy.
The transfer system has a capacity of up to 65 m³ LPG per hour. A similar solution is available at MAKEEN Energy to load/unload LPG from railway wagons.

Benefits
- Robustly designed and protected (e.g. painted) for long-lasting performance
- Minimal wastage with the LPG liquid recovery system
Maximum safety level
- Emergency shut-off valves installed on liquid and vapour lines to isolate the LPG transfer system in case of hazards (fire, high leakage)
- Safety coupling system closes the ends of the two hoses and the piping in case of extensive tensions
- Clear internal traffic rules ensure high operational safety
- Improved safety with the potential equalisation system check prior to the loading/unloading operation
- ATEX-certified equipment for installations in hazardous areas
