As the energy industry continues to evolve, so does our Gas Solutions division. In recent years, we’ve introduced new innovations and made important changes, all aimed at supporting our customers and strengthening our position in the market. As part of this development, we’re pleased to announce new leaders in our Gas Solutions division following organisational changes. We are pleased to announce:
- Lars Sall as Director of Sales & Growth
- Morten Balle as Business Development & Expansion Director
- Pedro Rocha as Head of Commercial Product Development
- Carlos Lima as Head of Customer Support

Lars Sall
Director of Sales & Growth Department
we are pleased to introduce Lars Sall as the Director of our newly structured Sales & Growth department. With extensive experience in sales leadership, and working almost 20 years with us, his expertise will be key to scaling our commercial success and strengthening MAKEEN Energy’s position as a market leader.
“MAKEEN Energy is filling 150 million gas cylinders annually on behalf of our customers. We have successfully transitioned from a project-based company into a service company, where we both offer cylinder filling but also technology and service. Our legacy through almost a century gives us broad insight that allows us to support and add more value to our customers in all corners of the world. I look forward to continuing this journey with present and future customers.”

Morten Balle
Business Development & Expansion Director
Morten currently holds the role as Regional Director Europe, Middle East and Africa in MAKEEN Gas Solutions and he will transition into his new role gradually in the near future. With over 30 years of experience, Morten has extensive knowledge of the LPG industry, and he has contributed to MAKEEN Energy the company in several stages since 1993. With his expertise and leadership, Morten is well-equipped to drive growth and expand our global presence in the LPG sector.
As Morten steps into this new role, he highlights: "I’m excited to take on this new role and lead MAKEEN Energy’s efforts in driving business development and expansion. Together with our dedicated team, we will explore new markets, forge strategic partnerships, and continue to innovate to ensure long-term growth.”

Pedro Rocha
Head of Commercial Product Management
Pedro Rocha has 18 years of experience across service, project, and sales roles, Pedro is a natural fit for this position. The new function will bridge the gaps between product strategy and market needs, ensuring an even stronger connection between our portfolio and customer demands.
In his new role, Pedro shares: “I look forward to developing with our commercial product owners a strategic oversight of all products to optimise customer satisfaction, product performance and profitability. This approach balances innovation with revenue and business performance with growth. I am proud of our long-term customers relationship legacy, and I will continue to make sure our customers are at competitive advantage on their business with our products.”

Carlos Lima
Head of Customer Support
Carlos Lima first joined MAKEEN Energy in 2007 as a Service Coordinator in Brazil, a role he held until 2015, where he had a period working elsewhere. Here, he transitioned to working on the customer side, gaining valuable insights from their perspective. Luckily, he returned in 2022, relocating to Denmark to bring his expertise back to the company.
As Carlos puts it: "I've always been passionate about supporting people - whether colleagues, customers, or partners - to succeed. Since joining Kosan Crisplant (now MAKEEN Energy) in 2007, my focus has been on collaboration, problem-solving, and driving results. This mindset naturally led me to Customer Support, where I see my role as ensuring that our team, and those we serve, have the right conditions to thrive."
