Would you like to work for an international company that contributes to and supports management, as well as the coordination of processes and activities? Right now, we are looking for a supply chain manager in Porto.
Your responsibilities
- Source the right products.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Carry out procurement activities affecting all MEPT sites.
- Renegotiate annual agreements with suppliers (including rebates, payment terms, delivery conditions, etc.).
- Create new supplier accounts in the company’s ERP.
- Plan and implement logistics strategies, ensuring that targets are achieved.
- Manage product storage, stock rotation, and goods receipt.
- Work on forecasts and inventory planning; monitor KPIs and conduct internal performance analysis.
- Manage costs while maintaining high quality standards.
- Oversee budget cost control.
- Continuously improve supply chain performance and identify process innovations.
- Define action plans to minimize risks that could impact or disrupt the supply chain.
- Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain to support sustainability targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational gaps.
- Develop supply chain management strategies that enhance efficiency and speed.
- Train teams on new IFS transactions within the Supply Chain area.
Your profile
We imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience managing supply chain operations in industrial environments.
- Experience working in multicultural environments.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in complex environments, set priorities, and handle multiple simultaneous requirements from different sites.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills (Excel and Power BI).
- A well-organized and flexible approach.
- A systematic and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Spanish knowledge would be a plus.

The practical things
Your daily base will be at the Porto, Portugal. Your working hours will be in the space between 8 am and 5 pm. You can start as soon as possible.
