For well over a century, we have celebrated the International Women's Day on 8 March - and of course, 2019 is no exception. The annual, global celebrations focus on the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women - and they stress that gender equality should not be taken for granted.
As MAKEEN Energy is part of the energy industry, we are aware that we find ourselves in a business environment that is traditionally dominated by men. But that does in no way exclude women from joining our family and developing themselves and their opportunities.
During 2018, we welcomed several female new-comers, and we have talked to three of them - Adeeba from Bangladesh, Pooja from India and Stine from Denmark - to hear why they chose this industry, and what they have experienced so far.
