The conveyor chain, type MCC-30, is a specially designed chain to transport LPG cylinders on chain conveyor systems.
The chain is manufactured using a special alloy cast steel, assuring an excellent wear resistance, low friction, and high tensile strength. Furthermore, all of the materials used in the fabrication of the chain are duly certified to comply with the ORIGINAL MAKEEN QUALITY specifications.
All production processes are monitored according to the ISO 9001 quality system standard, which guarantees that each component is 100% perfect before assembling. For each production batch, five random samples are tested for the tensile strength to ensure the chains meet the ORIGINAL MAKEEN QUALITY standards.
Safety
The chain is intended for operation in hazardous areas classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2, according to:
- EN ISO 80079-36: 2016
- EN ISO 80079-37: 2016
The design and materials prevent any sparks from forming between the chain and the conveyor tracks when used as intended in accordance with the user instructions. Therefore, the MCC-30 chain is certified for constructional safety class (Ex h) under the IECEx certification scheme.
Also, the IECEx Certificate of Conformity approves and conforms the operational conditions, as defined by the marking: Ex h IIB Gb
