To support and drive MAKEEN Gas Equipment’s important business and growth in the Middle East region, we are looking for a dynamic and self-driven colleague with a passion for sales. While your skills supporting and driving various sales activities and maintaining excellent customer relations are paramount, it is however necessary that you also hold a level of relevant technical experience/knowhow.

Our customers are primarily gas companies, specialist gas companies, contractors, builders, developers and local authorities.

Your role

In MAKEEN Energy’s headquarters in Randers, you will become part of our sales team with direct reference to the Business Unit Director and you’ll team up with the Sales Engineer responsible for the Middle East region. You will meet a working culture welcoming and allowing freedom in your personal work approach and planning, and you’ll be able to participate in the shaping and development of the sales function and process, as well as the assurance of a high level of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales support including via email and phone
  • Maintaining and driving our order portfolio
  • Participation in projects involving customized technical solutions
  • Continous hands-on with sales orders in process including any changes to scope and pricing
  • Cooperation with the marketing function in the development and distribution of campaign packages
  • Outgoing participation in customer visits, particiption in fair’s and other such activities
  • Updating and maintaining our CRM- and other sales support systems
  • Administrative tasks in the sales support team
  • Etc.


Your profile

We are looking for an independent, competitive self-starter who takes full responsibility for his/her own tasks. At the same time, the sales team is characterized by transparency, teamwork and knowledge sharing, and it is important to find a colleague who identifies with these values.

To be a relevant candidate to become our new Technical Sales Specialist, we see more possibilities, where we would consider the right experience before the right education.

  • You probably already hold some years of experience from a comparable sales position and a relevant technical working knowledge (energy, thermodynamics, process technology…)
  • Your educational background could be Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or another technical education
  • You are good at relationship management and communications
  • Your working profile is structured and analytical, and you are used to working with KPI’s and action plans
  • You are a good team player
  • You are curious, creative and constructive and good at problem solving
  • You are a responsible, self-starting, dedicated, goal-oriented, and persistent person
  • You have a high level of proficiency in English language (written and spoken)
  • You are an experienced user of MS-Office products and a computer literate in general
