Since 1951, we have delivered over 3,500 LPG filling facilities to customers in more than 140 countries all over the world. We also operate the LPG Bottling plants of our valued patrons in India and are known for ensuring the highest productivity and safety at each location.
We are now looking for young, dynamic and versatile professionals as Plant Manager & Deputy Plant Manager for LPG Bottling Plants in India, who are seeking leadership opportunities and challenging assignments in a dynamic work environment.
A Bachelor’s Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Industrial Engineering/Civil (Four years course) with industrial experience of Minimum 7 years, out of which 5+ years of experience should be in an LPG Bottling Plant (Preferably), in a Petrochemical plant or a Petroleum refinery in a supervisory/Lead role.
Key Challenges and Expectations:
As a Plant Manager/Deputy Plant manager of an LPG Bottling plant you will be responsible for:
Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills. Ensuring proper operation and maintenance of plant and machineries viz. LPG carousel, pump, compressors, blowers, diesel engines, mounded storage vessels, fire-fighting systems and other equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring financial discipline in plant operation as well as for optimising plant operations cost without compromising quality, safety, maintenance and security.
Candidates should preferably possess sufficient knowledge and skill in handling/operations of an LPG plant/Natural Gas processing unit. They should also have good knowledge in handling shift operations and ‘Hazard area classification’ in a process plant. They must have sound knowledge about various ‘Safety systems’ such as GMS, water sprinkler, hydrant, monitor etc. along with emergency handling procedure in an LPG/NG plant. They should also have thorough knowledge about various statutory norms applicable to Hazardous industries.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy, proficiency in trouble shooting of plant and machineries, ability to motivate and lead the team from front, capability to work in coordination with all concern including statutory authorities and oil marketing companies and aptitude to focus on every aspect with meticulousness are the desirable qualities we are looking for in a potential LPG Plant Manager.
