Creative storyteller for international corporation

And do you want new professional and personal challenges in a fast-growing, international corporation? Then you might be the new Communications Officer for our headquarters in Randers!

Primary areas of responsibility

Right now, we are looking an open-minded, proactive and imaginative new employee for our global communications and marketing department. As our new colleague, you will join a team of 8 passionate people who support the organisation’s 20 locations worldwide with high-quality internal and external communication.

You will play a central role in copywriting for websites, brochures, advertisements, press releases, newsletters, social media etc. And as our corporate materials are in English, the majority of what you write will be so as well.

Besides copywriting, you will also contribute, together with the rest of the team, to:

  • Developing campaigns for various channels and purposes
  • Developing the brand identity of MAKEEN Energy
  • Laying out a short-term and long-term communications strategy
  • Reporting for the UN Global Compact

Your qualifications

We are looking for a creative storyteller with good writing skills and a winning and inspiring language. You manage to communicate concisely about complex, technical solutions, but you are equally able to create catchy one-liners.

You take initiative to seek out the good story of the organisation, and it is therefore important that you are outgoing and curious as well as willing and able to cooperate with our many specialists. In a single workday, you may be in direct contact with your colleagues in India, Brazil or one of our many other offices, so a strong sense of cultural awareness and understanding will be an asset.

Furthermore, we expect you to:

  • Be fluent in English, verbally and in writing
  • Have a relevant degree in communications/journalism
  • Have experience in copywriting in the B2B area
  • Be a super-user in Microsoft Office
  • Know your way around social media and CMS systems (websites and newsletters)
  • Be able to work with many tasks simultaneously, sometimes with short deadlines – and have a strong ability to structure daily life and prioritise tasks
  • Also, technical flair/interest is an advantage
